Vote Or Die
2023 Holiday Movie Poll
It's time for our very first ever choose-your-own movie adventure! The Quality Scary team has created a selection of some of our holiday favorites in an effort to give you the illusion of choice as you navigate this cruel, indifferent world. Read about each of our picks in the sections below, or just skip to the bottom and vote away if you're freaking reckless. We'll screen the winning movie on December 15!

Dan's Pick:
Christmas Evil (1980)
“Ever been itchin' to see Fiona Apple’s dad pretend to be a murderous Santa Claus? Well, do I have the movie for your weirdly specific craving! Christmas Evil might be a misnomer because WHAT A DELIGHT. The feel-good horror event of the season!”
Emily's Pick:
Misery (1990)
"Is Misery a Christmas movie? In my house it is! To me, this Academy Award winner (hello!) feels like a drinking a toasty cup of cocoa while a photogenic dusting of snow falls outside. They told me I can't threaten to hobble you if you don't vote for this movie, but I can promise I'll bring cookies if it wins. Worked for my fourth grade election, anyway."

Sarah Jean's Pick:
The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
"Are you kidding me with this? Do I really have to list out the reasons this one should win the vote? Frankly, I’m insulted that you’re asking me to do this. We all know that this is the only (and best) film ever made that so masterfully combines the horror of Halloween and the wonder of Christmas, you barely even notice how weird it is that you wanna bang Jack Skellington."
Ready? Vote!
We'll be accepting votes through December 4, 2023. Follow @qualityscary on social media and sign up for our mailing list so you don't miss the big announcement!
